Ana María Acosta was born in Cali in 1982, she graduated in Fashion Design in 2005. In 2006 she took the Costume Design course for Audiovisual and Performing Arts at the Javeriana University of Bogotá. In 2007 he attended the diploma course on “Ephemeral Architectures for the Performing Arts” from the Colombian Ministry of Culture and the Spanish Embassy. Ana María has a long history of designing the costumes for more than 40 productions including feature films, short films, serials, opera, advertising, among others. In 2018 he won the “Macondo” award for best costume design for the film “SAL” directed by William Vega, this award was awarded to him by the Colombian Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences. She has also been nominated for films such as LAVAPERROS, KILLING JESUS, DARK ANIMAL, THE TRAFFIC LIGHT SOCIETY, KINGS OF THE WORLD, I SAW THREE BLACK LIGHTS among others. Throughout his career he has designed all types of characters in different time periods from the 16th century to the present day.
